Dr. Georg Roehsner is head of EVERSHEDS Austria's IT-law department. He acts as counsel for national and international private telecommunication operators, ISPs and software companies in all areas of their business.
Dr. Georg Roehsner also practices in the increasingly important area of data protection law and his publications in the relevant journals have been widely acknowledged.
Through his background as a member of the Austrian Regional Radio Authority he has developed an extensive practice in radio law and laws on new media.
Due to his practice over a number of years, numerous publications and successful counselling in litigation, Dr. Georg Roehsner has also become one of the most acknowledged experts for residential law in Austria. A well known journal ranked him among the top 5 Austrian real estate property experts. The carrying out of real estate transactions and the counselling in all kinds of tenancy and residential disputes are among his special areas of practice.
